Leading the design, we created a new platform for ASOS to share their content in a consistent and beautiful way across iOS, mobile, desktop and Android.
This was a huge project and a big challenge. Behind the beautiful and consistent front-end was a back-end CMS which allowed the easy creation of vaious shopping and editorial pages. This system had to be flexible and consistent across iOS, mobile/desktop web and Android.
We created a bunch of different templates that look consistent across any device and, most importantly, in the the native app.
Templates could be pieced together in the back-end like Lego. This allowed for great flexibility while maintaining consistency to my original design. The back-end plugged seamlessly into the ASOS website meaning the site and app pulled the same data and were always in sync.
Before we developed our own app we used Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite. This allowed me to play with a lot ideas but ultimately was limiting.
